An extended level of care for your loved ones.

When a loved one requires more care and attention than is typically provided in an assisted living setting, there is often no alternative other than moving to skilled nursing. Thankfully, the Piper has an option for residents who may require a higher level of assisted living care to manage medical concerns. Physician-Directed Nursing offers a personalized, stepped-up level of care that will give families peace of mind. Daily care is provided by registered nurses who receive medical management direction from physicians. With physician-directed nursing, residents can continue to age in familiar surroundings among neighbors and team members they know and trust, while receiving a highly personalized and sophisticated level of care services.

In The Piper’s physician-directed nursing household, physicians are on-call 24/7, in addition to making rounds twice a month and attending monthly care plan meetings with family members and The Piper’s care team.
