Events at The Piper

Come out and join us for informative speakers, entertaining performers and special events here at The Piper.

Share the Warmth Clothing and Supplies Drive, Monday, February 3-Friday, February 7

We are holding a clothing and supplies drive to distribute to those in need around Wyandotte and Leavenworth Counties. Please consider helping us out and donating items such as clothing, outerwear, tents, backpacks, personal hygiene products and food. Items can be dropped off in The Piper lobby. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support!

Dementia Support Group, Third Tuesday of the Month, 5:30 PM

We are starting a support group for loved ones of those with dementia. We know there are a lot of questions surrounding dementia, and at times, it can be overwhelming for family members. Join us every third Tuesday in our Community Room as we talk about ways we can support you through this journey. This event is only for The Piper community and family members, and is not open to the public.

Connect the Dotte, Second Tuesday of the Month, 8:30 AM

Every second Tuesday of the month, we host Connect the Dotte in our community room. This networking event allows business owners, employees, leaders and other professionals in Wyandotte to connect and discuss the best ways to support each other.

Coffee & Conversation, First Thursday of the Month, 9:30 AM

Every first Thursday of the month, unless specified, we will host breakfast for all members of the community and have a brief informative program on a variety of topics. These events are open to our residents, families, senior living and health marketers and the public.

  • Peripheral Artery Disease, February 6: Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) is a common circulatory problem where narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to your limbs. A cardiologist from Providence Medical Center will join us to discuss symptoms, causes and treatment. A quick, non-invasive health screening for PAD will also be available.
  • All About Arthritis, March 5: Chiropractor Dr. Blaine Kingsbury will discuss arthritis pain and the benefit of chiropractic care as an alternative to other pain relief treatments.
